International pharmaceutical company
Before our Antal Kazakhstan Almaty office opening we worked on a Business Controller vacancy in an international pharmaceutical company. As soon as we began working on this project, the company had been trying to close the vacancy for about a year with several local agencies.
Thanks to our knowledge of the Kazakhstan market and our database of professionals it took us only two weeks to find a suitable candidate. The company liked our candidate very much, he passed the interview process and tests successfully and joined the company shortly afterwards. Our consultants successfully coped with that task even when working remotely and being based in Moscow at that time.
Group Brand Manager
Cosmetic Company
The company producing cosmetics products was looking for a Group Brand Manager to replace the employee who had left the company. It took more then six months to search for candidates in Russia and Ukraine using it’s own internal resources as well as other Russian recruitment companies. They did not succeed as there were no candidates ready to relocate to this Russian region to fill this position.
We widened the geographical area and found a good candidate in Kazakhstan. Our candidate got a job offer on the second round of interviews. In three months he moved to Russia and started working in the role.
Brand Manager
International FMCG food company
For six months, internal recruiters from an international FMCG food company had been trying to fill a Brand Manager position and met almost all available candidates on the market. It was difficult to find a strong candidate with managerial experience who was able to support an effective local marketing function and also adapt a global strategy.
The company was looking for a person with similar experience and additional difficulty was to motivate candidate to move to the relatively similar role. We presented the company two candidates, whom we approached directly. The company liked them both and offered them to fill two different positions. The candidate for a Brand Manager vacancy took an offer, started working within a month and successfully passed their probation period.
Key Account Manager and Pre-Sale Manager
IT Company
An IT company was looking for a Key Account Manager with four years work experience in a particular business segment and with technical education. Additionally the new employee was expected to be independent in doing business.
We presented four candidates to the company and the client liked three of them. One of our candidates got to the final stage of the recruitment process and two others were considered as future hires. There were quite long negotiations regarding compensation package as the salary expectations of our finalist exceeded the companies’ budget. Finally both sides managed to reach a compromise confirming the average of expectations and offer.
Later the company opened a vacancy of Pre-Sale Manager and our second candidate was offered to take this role. And again it took a while to agree on the sum of compensation and Antal Kazakhstan consultant was involved in it and finally helped employer and candidate to find compromise solution.
Country Sales Representative in Kazakhstan
B2B Company
The company producing and distributing office furniture needed to find country sales representative in Kazakhstan. The requirements were quite common, but the difficulty was that candidates had to pass over 5 stages of interviewing, the company reviewed the recruitment budget for several times and it took a while to set the final list of functional requirements.
Finally our candidate reached the final stage after successfully passing about 10 interviews. We took an active participation in compensation negotiations and the company extended the budget and hired our candidate.
