Our Client -International FMCG Company is looking for a Chief Accountant
Job Responsibilities
- Managing execution of all daily accounting entries
- Oversee payroll, disbursements, fixed assets, cash and other areas of the accounting function
- Preparing balance sheets, reports, and periodic financial statements in accordance with local and group requirements
- Responsible for Russian taxes, preparing tax returns and reports for Statutory Authorities
- Quarterly/Yearly closings in accordance with RAS
- Maintain relations with Tax Authorities, external and internal auditors and internal finance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintain internal control environment that adequately protects company assets
Knowledge and work experience
· High economical/accounting education
· Strong knowledge of Russian accounting and taxation practices and regulations
· Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
· Experience on position of Deputy Chief Accountant or Chief Accountant
· Working in the international environment would be an advantage
· Experience in preparing tax returns and passing internal/external audit and Tax Inspections

· Knowledge of 1C
· Ability to communicate in English on daily basis (verbal and written)
