Our client is one of international consulting and construction companies is looking for Cost Engineer.
The role
The role will require you to undertake cost estimating for the projects life- especially in the front end.
You will also possess particular expertise in the multi-discipline design and construction of a variety of facilities including accommodation, infrastructure, manufacturing, research and testing facilities in both conventional and hazardous environments.
For this role, you will need to demonstrate
-a good understanding of scheduling techniques,
-work breakdown structures,
-cost control reporting methods,
-risk analysis and assessment,
-cost and schedule consequences on design, installation, commissioning and maintenance requirements of a regulated site.
- you will also need a good understanding of technical requirements for construction appropriate to conventional and hazardous environments.
Key accountabilities of this role include
-adhering to requirements of company policy and management systems
-Implementing the best practice estimating policy, processes and procedures on projects
-Providing cost estimates and cost plans within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control of financial limits for projects.
-Assist with value engineering assessments and evaluating results as part of the project process
- Provide estimating input into risk assessments
-Provide estimating input into change request preparation
-Assist with the compilation of historical data for data bank for future projects.
